The service
Always Alert is a camera monitoring service for restaurants, food trucks, stores and chains. We connect to your cameras, watch them around the clock, keep short clips of flagged events and 7 days of a low-resolution stream, and send alerts and wraps to your team. The watching happens in our cloud; full-resolution recording stays on your cameras or recorder. During the pilot, features and pricing may change; we'll tell you before they do.
Alerts are leads, not verdicts
- An alert means the system saw something worth a look. It isn't proof that anything happened, and it can be wrong. Review the clip before you act.
- The system can miss events. It doesn't replace an alarm system or insurance.
- In an emergency, call 911. Don't wait for an alert.
Your responsibilities
- Use Always Alert only on premises and vehicles you operate, and only lawfully.
- Post any camera or biometric notices your local laws require.
- Get each employee's recorded consent before turning on staff recognition, and remove them when they leave.
- Keep your team's access up to date, and remove people who no longer need it.
Your data
Your clips and business data are yours. We use them to provide and secure the service. We don't sell them. We won't use your clips to train or improve our models unless you agree to it in writing.
Hardware and fees
Fees are per site, per month, as set out in your plan. Any hardware (a bridge or cameras) is either bought upfront or included in your plan on a fixed term; your agreement says which, and what happens to the hardware if you cancel.
Ending the service
You can stop using Always Alert as described in your agreement. When you do, we delete your uploaded clips and account data after a short grace period, unless the law requires us to keep something longer.
Liability
The service is provided as is during the pilot. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from events the system misses or flags in error. Your agreement may set out more specific terms, and it takes precedence over this page.
